Description

VALUE FENCING® BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

Resell. Install. Fabricate. Franchise.

Four ways to build a business with Value Fencing® - established since 2009

"Everything in business is negotiable, except Quality."

THE VALUE FENCING® OPPORTUNITY

Value Fencing® has specialised in premium PVC fencing and related outdoor solutions since 2009.

What began as a specialist fencing offering has developed into a broad product and service range serving homeowners, estates, developers, architects, contractors, property managers, hospitality businesses, equestrian properties and commercial clients.

Today, suitably qualified entrepreneurs and existing businesses can participate in the Value Fencing® network through four distinct business models.

THE FOUR MODELS

MODEL 1 - AUTHORISED RESELLER

Sell genuine Value Fencing® products through your own independent business.

MODEL 2 - RESELLER + CERTIFIED INSTALLER

Sell Value Fencing® products and add approved professional installation services.

MODEL 3 - LIMITED FABRICATION

Resell, install and manufacture selected approved Value Fencing® products locally.

MODEL 4 - FULL VALUE FENCING® FRANCHISE

Operate the complete Value Fencing® business system with broader rights, preferential pricing and a protected core franchise territory.

The opportunity has intentionally been structured so that you do not necessarily need to start with the largest model.

A business can potentially progress through the Value Fencing® pathway:

RESELL → INSTALL → FABRICATE → FULL FRANCHISE

Upgrades remain subject to approval, capability, area availability and the applicable agreement.

COMPARE THE FOUR MODELS INTERACTIVELY

Use our private interactive Value Fencing® Opportunity Explorer to compare the four models, their structure, commitments, benefits and suitability:

Explore and Compare the Value Fencing® Opportunity Models

The correct starting point depends on your objectives, experience, existing infrastructure, available investment and local market.

WHY VALUE FENCING®?

Value Fencing® has operated in the South African PVC fencing industry since 2009.

Our business is not simply about selling fence panels.

The Value Fencing® model is built around:

  • Product knowledge
  • Quality materials
  • Custom design
  • Correct structural reinforcement
  • Professional fabrication
  • Professional installation
  • Accurate quoting
  • Technical support
  • Customer service
  • Brand consistency
  • Digital visibility
  • Long-term product value

PVC offers important advantages for customers looking for attractive, low-maintenance outdoor solutions.

Quality PVC does not rust or rot and does not require routine painting or varnishing.

This makes it particularly attractive for:

  • Residential properties
  • Coastal properties
  • Security estates
  • Lifestyle estates
  • Retirement developments
  • Hospitality properties
  • Schools
  • Body corporates
  • Developers
  • Property managers
  • Architects
  • Contractors
  • Homeowners seeking lower-maintenance alternatives

Value Fencing® combines this specialist product category with an established brand, practical operating experience, product knowledge, technical systems and a growing network of approved operators.

MORE THAN JUST FENCING

A Value Fencing® operator is not limited to one product or one type of customer.

Our product offering includes:

PVC Palisade Fencing

Open boundary fencing suitable for homes, estates, pools, commercial properties and developments.

PVC Picket Fencing

Traditional and contemporary designs with multiple picket widths, spacing options and top configurations.

Private PVC Fencing

Full-privacy fencing and boundary-wall solutions using interlocking PVC panel systems.

Semi-Private Fencing

A balance between privacy, airflow and architectural appearance.

Horizontal & Vertical Screening

Architectural privacy screening for boundaries, walls, courtyards, patios, service areas and outdoor entertainment spaces.

Pool Fencing & Gates

PVC pool fencing and gate systems designed for appropriate pool applications.

PVC Balustrades

Residential, estate and specialist railing systems, including selected glass and cable configurations.

Pedestrian Gates

Custom-manufactured gates designed to complement the selected fencing system.

Sliding & Swing Driveway Gates

Custom gate solutions incorporating appropriate internal reinforcement and hardware.

Pergolas & Garden Arbors

Low-maintenance outdoor structures for homes, estates and development applications.

Lattice & Trellis

Decorative and functional screening for gardens, pergolas, walls and outdoor spaces.

Wall Raisers

PVC solutions for increasing privacy and screening above existing walls where suitable.

Equestrian Fencing

Post-and-rail systems for paddocks, arenas and equestrian properties.

Shutters & Specialist PVC Products

Louvred, slatted, solid and custom PVC applications, including project-specific CNC-manufactured components where applicable.

This broad product range allows an approved operator to develop multiple revenue opportunities from the same customer base.

MODEL 1 - AUTHORISED VALUE FENCING® RESELLER

A lower-entry route into the Value Fencing® network

The Authorised Reseller model is designed for entrepreneurs and established businesses that want to sell genuine Value Fencing® products without initially establishing a complete manufacturing and installation operation.

The reseller remains an independent business.

The primary focus is on:

  • Modular products
  • Ready-to-assemble systems
  • DIY supply
  • Trade supply
  • Prepared products
  • Components
  • Accessories

Who is this model best suited to?

  • Building-material suppliers
  • Hardware businesses
  • Existing fencing companies
  • Contractors
  • Outdoor-living businesses
  • Property-service companies
  • Entrepreneurs wanting a lower-investment entry point
  • Businesses wanting to add Value Fencing® products to an existing offering

Key advantages

  • No franchise initiation fee
  • No monthly franchise fee
  • No turnover royalty
  • No compulsory franchise marketing levy
  • Lower infrastructure requirement
  • No full manufacturing workshop required
  • No CNC machine required for basic resale
  • No PVC welder required for basic resale
  • Access to genuine Value Fencing® products
  • Dealer / Reseller pricing
  • Approved Value Fencing® brand association
  • Product and technical support
  • Main Value Fencing® website listing
  • Dedicated Value Fencing® telephone number
  • Branded Value Fencing® email address
  • Approved Service & Marketing Area
  • Opportunity to progress into the other models

Area rights

An Authorised Reseller may receive an Approved Service & Marketing Area.

This should not be confused with a protected franchise territory.

A reseller area is generally non-exclusive and does not provide the same territorial rights, protection or long-term commercial structure as a Full Franchise.

MODEL 2 - RESELLER + CERTIFIED INSTALLER

Sell the product - and earn from professional installation

This model adds professional installation capability to the Authorised Reseller structure.

The operator can therefore generate revenue from both:

PRODUCT SUPPLY + INSTALLATION

The model is particularly suitable for hands-on operators and existing contracting businesses.

Best suited to

  • Existing fencing contractors
  • Building contractors
  • Installation businesses
  • Gate installers
  • Property-maintenance businesses
  • Tradespeople
  • Entrepreneurs wanting to operate installation teams

Key benefits

  • All applicable Authorised Reseller benefits
  • Certified Installer status
  • Product-specific installation training
  • Technical installation guidance
  • Approved installation methods
  • Ability to quote for supply-and-install projects
  • Broader customer offering
  • Greater project capability
  • Additional installation revenue potential
  • Continued opportunity to progress into fabrication or franchise ownership

Do I need a factory?

No.

A Certified Installer does not need a complete manufacturing workshop simply to qualify for installation status.

The primary requirements relate to competent installation capability, suitable tools, transport, staff where required and compliance with Value Fencing® installation standards.

Workmanship warranty

The approved installer is responsible for the workmanship of installations performed by that business.

Professional installations carry a 12-month workmanship warranty, subject to the applicable terms.

MODEL 3 - RESELLER + CERTIFIED INSTALLER + LIMITED FABRICATION

More capability without immediately becoming a Full Franchise

The Limited Fabrication model is aimed at established operators that want greater project flexibility and selected local manufacturing capability.

The operator may:

RESELL + INSTALL + FABRICATE SELECTED APPROVED PRODUCTS

This does not provide unrestricted manufacturing rights.

Fabrication is limited to the products and processes approved under the operator's Limited Fabrication Endorsement.

Possible approved activities may include

  • Selected fencing manufacture
  • Gate fabrication
  • Screening systems
  • Modular products
  • Prepared components
  • Selected custom PVC solutions

The exact scope is determined by the written endorsement.

Key benefits

  • Reseller capability
  • Certified installation capability
  • Selected local fabrication
  • Access to approved long PVC profiles and components
  • Increased ability to customise projects
  • Greater operational flexibility
  • Ability to handle higher-value project requirements
  • Natural progression towards a Full Franchise
  • No standard franchise initiation fee
  • No standard monthly franchise fee

Do I need CNC and PVC welding equipment?

Only where necessary for the approved fabrication categories.

The objective is not to force an operator to purchase equipment that is unnecessary for the work they have been authorised to perform.

MODEL 4 - FULL VALUE FENCING® FRANCHISE

The complete Value Fencing® business model

The Full Franchise represents the most comprehensive opportunity within the Value Fencing® structure.

It is intended for entrepreneurs and businesses wanting to establish a dedicated Value Fencing® operation with broader commercial rights, manufacturing capability, preferential material pricing and stronger territorial protection.

The Full Franchise may include

  • Protected core franchise territory
  • Full approved Value Fencing® branding
  • Preferential franchisee material pricing
  • Full approved manufacturing capability
  • Complete installation capability
  • Full product range
  • Franchise onboarding
  • Manufacturing training
  • Installation training
  • Product training
  • Technical support
  • Quoting and operational systems
  • Supplier and material support
  • Marketing guidance
  • Main Value Fencing® website presence
  • Dedicated local Mini Website
  • Dedicated Value Fencing® telephone number
  • Branded Value Fencing® email address
  • Lead-routing infrastructure
  • Digital support
  • Ongoing product development information
  • Participation in the broader Value Fencing® network
  • Ongoing Head Office support

Franchise territory

Full Franchise territories are defined contractually.

The applicable territory, boundaries, concessions and neighbouring-area arrangements are recorded in the Franchise Agreement or written amendments.

Territory availability changes as new areas are awarded.

A prospective franchisee should therefore never assume that a particular territory is automatically available until confirmed by Value Fencing® Head Office.

CURRENT FULL FRANCHISE FEES

Standard Initial Franchise Fee

R60,000 excluding VAT

Selected territories may occasionally qualify for a negotiated launch concession or reduced initiation fee.

Any concession must be confirmed in writing by Value Fencing® Head Office and does not automatically apply to any other territory.

Monthly Franchise Fee

R4,500 excluding VAT per contracted franchise area

The fee remains subject to the escalation provisions contained in the applicable Franchise Agreement.

There is currently no separate historical Advertising & Lead Generation Fee.

There is also no separate turnover-based royalty under the current fee structure.

WHAT DOES "ESTABLISHMENT INVESTMENT" MEAN?

The R60,000 Initial Franchise Fee is not the total amount required to establish the business.

A Full Franchise must also establish sufficient operating capability.

Depending on what the applicant already owns, this may include:

  • Opening stock
  • Workshop premises
  • Office facilities
  • Storage
  • Manufacturing equipment
  • Installation tools
  • Workshop tools
  • Vehicles
  • Computers and administration equipment
  • Demonstration products
  • Staff
  • Insurance
  • Business registration and statutory expenses
  • Local launch marketing
  • Working capital
  • Operating reserves

An existing fencing or construction business may already own many of these assets.

A new business starting from scratch may require substantially more capital.

For this reason, Value Fencing® does not rely on a misleading one-size-fits-all establishment figure.

The correct investment should be assessed according to the applicant, proposed territory and existing resources.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN RESELLER RIGHTS AND FRANCHISE TERRITORY

This distinction is important.

Models 1, 2 and 3

Operators may receive an Approved Service & Marketing Area.

This assists with:

  • Local marketing
  • Network organisation
  • Enquiry routing
  • Customer service
  • Area planning

It is generally not an exclusive franchise territory.

Value Fencing® may retain the right, subject to applicable agreements, to:

  • Serve strategic customers
  • Supply national accounts
  • Handle national projects
  • Supply customers directly
  • Make online or centralised sales
  • Appoint additional approved operators
  • Develop future franchise territories

Model 4 - Full Franchise

The Full Franchise receives the protected core territory recorded in the applicable Franchise Agreement.

This is one of the major commercial advantages of the Full Franchise structure.

PRODUCT PRICING

Models 1-3 generally purchase products under the applicable Dealer / Reseller pricing structure.

Full Franchisees receive preferential franchisee material pricing.

The reason is straightforward.

A Full Franchise involves greater:

  • Investment
  • Infrastructure
  • Stock commitment
  • Brand commitment
  • Operational responsibilities
  • Territory responsibilities
  • Manufacturing capability
  • System obligations

Preferential material pricing therefore forms part of the broader Full Franchise commercial structure.

DIGITAL SUPPORT

Modern business opportunities are not built only on premises, tools and vehicles.

Customers increasingly begin their buying process online.

Value Fencing® therefore places strong emphasis on digital visibility and professional contact infrastructure.

MAIN VALUE FENCING® WEBSITE

Approved operators may be listed within the main Value Fencing® website structure according to the applicable model and agreement.

This assists customers in identifying approved Value Fencing® representation in their area.

DEDICATED VALUE FENCING® TELEPHONE NUMBER

Approved operators may be supplied with a dedicated Value Fencing® telephone number.

This creates:

  • Professional local identity
  • Consistent brand presentation
  • Improved customer recognition
  • Easier lead routing
  • Better long-term continuity
  • Reduced disruption when operators change

Where an area already has an established Value Fencing® telephone number, the existing number may be allocated to an incoming approved operator where appropriate.

This can be especially valuable because previous customers, referrals, contractors and other contacts may already have that number saved.

Value Fencing®-issued telephone numbers remain part of the Value Fencing® network infrastructure.

BRANDED EMAIL ADDRESS

Approved operators may also receive a Value Fencing® branded email address.

This improves:

  • Professional presentation
  • Customer trust
  • Brand consistency
  • Continuity within established areas
  • Lead and enquiry management

Value Fencing® network email addresses remain subject to Head Office administration and the applicable agreement.

DEDICATED MINI WEBSITE

A dedicated Value Fencing® Mini Website is available to qualifying operators.

Models 1-3

R1,990 excluding VAT per month

The Mini Website may include:

  • Local business information
  • Approved area information
  • Product information
  • Service pages
  • Image galleries
  • Enquiry functionality
  • Contact information
  • Mobile-friendly presentation
  • Connection to the broader Value Fencing® ecosystem

Full Franchise

A dedicated local Mini Website is included in the Full Franchise model.

OPTIONAL SEO & DIGITAL VISIBILITY PACK

R2,950 excluding VAT per month

The SEO & Digital Visibility Pack is optional but strongly recommended for operators serious about building their local online presence.

It is available across the Value Fencing® opportunity models.

Depending on the applicable service scope, optimisation may include:

  • Local SEO
  • Website optimisation
  • Search indexing
  • Google Business Profile support
  • Product and service content
  • Search-intent optimisation
  • Metadata optimisation
  • Internal linking
  • Structured data
  • Local authority signals
  • Content improvements
  • Answer Engine Optimisation
  • AI-search discoverability
  • GEO and LLM visibility optimisation
  • Search-performance monitoring
  • Monthly reporting

The SEO Pack is separate from the Mini Website.

Digital platforms continually evolve, so optimisation methods may change as Google, AI search engines and other discovery platforms develop.

No specific search-engine position, quantity of leads, level of turnover or investment return can be guaranteed.

TRAINING, SUPPORT & SYSTEMS

Approved participants receive support appropriate to their chosen model.

The objective is not to expect an operator to invent everything from scratch.

Depending on the model, support may include:

Product Knowledge

Understanding products, profiles, applications, limitations and customer suitability.

Site Assessment

Fence lines, ground levels, gates, walls, access, soil conditions and other project variables.

Quoting

Preparing clear and commercially appropriate quotations based on actual project requirements.

Installation

Post preparation, reinforcement, alignment, fixing, finishing and applicable installation methods.

Gates

Pedestrian, sliding and swing gates, internal reinforcement, frames and hardware.

Pool Applications

Additional considerations applicable to pool fencing and gate systems.

Balustrades

Product selection and awareness of structural and regulatory requirements.

Fabrication

Approved manufacturing methods and specialised fabrication where applicable.

Customer Experience

Managing the customer journey from first enquiry through quotation, installation and after-sales support.

Digital Operations

Brand presentation, digital assets, website presence and approved marketing.

QUALITY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

Value Fencing® does not position PVC as a shortcut or cheap substitute.

Correct:

  • Design
  • Material selection
  • Structural reinforcement
  • Fabrication
  • Hardware
  • Foundations
  • Installation

remain essential.

This becomes particularly important in applications such as:

  • Large driveway gates
  • Coastal locations
  • High-wind environments
  • Pool enclosures
  • Balustrades
  • Wall-top installations
  • Privacy screens
  • Estate developments
  • Commercial projects

The principle remains:

"Everything in business is negotiable, except Quality."

WARRANTIES

PVC Materials

Qualifying Value Fencing® PVC materials are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, with a minimum 20-year material warranty period, subject to the applicable written warranty terms, conditions and exclusions.

Installation Workmanship

Professional installations carry a separate 12-month workmanship warranty from the responsible installer.

The material warranty and workmanship warranty are separate and should always be communicated clearly to customers.

WHO ARE VALUE FENCING® CUSTOMERS?

The diversity of the product range creates access to multiple customer markets.

Homeowners

Boundary fencing, gates, pool fencing, privacy screens, pergolas, balustrades and outdoor solutions.

Estates & Body Corporates

Standardised fencing, gate systems, balustrades, screening and replacement programmes.

Architects

Product information, design options, technical details and project-specific configurations.

Developers

Estate projects, residential developments, boundary systems and privacy solutions.

Contractors

Trade supply, technical support and specialist PVC solutions.

Property Managers

Low-maintenance replacement solutions for residential, hospitality and commercial properties.

Hospitality Businesses

Hotels, guesthouses, lodges, resorts and leisure properties.

Equestrian Clients

Post-and-rail fencing for paddocks, arenas and rural properties.

Coastal Property Owners

PVC solutions for environments where corrosion and ongoing painting can create recurring maintenance costs.

WHAT MAKES A GOOD VALUE FENCING® OPERATOR?

We are interested in the right people, not simply filling areas on a map.

Strong operators generally:

  • Communicate professionally
  • Respond to customers promptly
  • Protect the reputation of the brand
  • Understand that installation quality matters
  • Follow approved methods
  • Quote accurately
  • Manage cash flow
  • Maintain appropriate margins
  • Build local relationships
  • Develop reviews and referrals
  • Understand the importance of digital visibility
  • Are prepared to learn
  • Build capable teams
  • Take responsibility for their local market

Experience in construction, fencing, fabrication, sales or manufacturing can be valuable.

However, commercial discipline, integrity, customer service and commitment to quality can be equally important.
